Fort Knox

We had a beautiful day here at Millbank on Saturday, as I hope everyone else did in their own domain. Our daughter and her partner were down from Manchester and we enjoyed sitting in the garden for the first time this year. Her partner fits security cameras, so he updated ours while he was here. I can now watch Roy, in his Man Cave, in 8 Mgs, rather than 4, with the use of the app on my phone. They have a dog, a dachsund called Oscar who is quite noisy and was determined to greet evrybody personally as they walked down the lane.

We exchanged Easter eggs on Sunday with mine being a vegan one from Hip Hip.

Being reassured about his Man Cave security, Roy accompanied me on our trek to the Far North, aka Shetland, on an organised coach trip.We were collected from the door by a minibus which alread had some happy travellers inside. Everybody met up at Cirencester services where our main coach was awaiting, and off we went. After several comfort breaks, including the picturesque Tebay Services, we arrived at our first overnight stop which was The Salutation at Perth. We just had time for an acclimatising walkabout before night fell.

After breakfast next morning we left for our next visit which was to be Pitlochry, capital of the Cairngorms!
